    A fantastic show.

I had high expectations for this musical as the movie is very good and the songs are great in the movie. I was very disappointed. The story is changed and feels very long, they don't focus on the interesting parts and miss out good songs from the movie and also completely change the ending. I understand that it is not the movie but removing good songs and story lines seems unnecessary. The acting isn't great with bad jokes and wooden dialogue. The dancing is great but is used too much throughout and seems to be used as a filler throughout. The costumes are very odd and don't look well made and don'f fit with what would be expected, they look more like Disney princes than pharaohs. The lighting was random and would blind the audience whenever there was any drama. Usually I go out from a musical and would love to see it again or will be obsessed with the soundtrack for weeks, this is not the case for the Prince of Egypt. The cast are talented however the script and direction let them down. I will not recommend this.
